All our Account Executives hold either a Dip Fin Serv (Insurance Broking), Tier 1 or Tier 2 General or Personal Advice and are are authorised to provide services through our Australian Financial Services Licence.

History
When our founder and Director, Brian Salisbury, decided to branch out on his own in 1975, he was a one-man band operating out of a small office in Caringbah.
Now, he works alongside two Directors. The company employes over 24 people from around the local Sutherland Shire and surrounds.
Our dedicated and loyal team have been by our side for many years and it means our clients benefit from dealing with people who know them.

From the very beginning, the Austbrokers SPT experience stood out.
Brian credits growing up in a family of small business owners and seeing first-hand what it takes to keep customers happy as one reason for the company success.
Austbrokers SPT always saw the need for ethical risk advice, the importance of repeatable business systems and using technology to make things easy for clients.
And this was way before the industry was regulated and considered a profession.
Brian is a proud founding member of National Insurance Brokers Australia (NIBA) and the team continues to belong to the association.
Today there is a strong leadership team at SPT {Brian, Peter Hanna and Arthur Kinnas} who each bring their unique style of leadership and experience to the business.
Community
Being an active member of our community is our way of giving back.
Most of the team live and work in the shire and that’s why we support many local clubs and organisations. We participate in local business groups and raise funds for local charities.
We started the Tom Payne Memorial Grant
In honour of Austbrokers SPT co-founder Tom Payne, we started a memorial grant with North Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club.
The grant exists to recognise a member whose contribution enhances the reputation of the club, or surf lifesaving in general.
Together with several of Australia’s largest insurance companies, Austbrokers SPT are delighted to offer this grant in honour of Tom Payne who enjoyed a long and proud history of service to the club and the community.
Austbrokers SPT encourage members of North Cronulla Surf Life Saving club to come forward for nomination of this annual grant.
